How a molecule feels on the hand is not how it travels. Texture is a first impression. Delivery is a measured path through the stratum corneum — or a decision to stay on the surface on purpose.
Carriers with a job
Nano-liposomes and related carriers are useful only when their size, charge, and payload can be repeated. We do not adopt a delivery system because it sounds advanced. We adopt it when chromatography and skin-model work show the same destination twice.
Some actives should not go deeper. Barrier lipids, for example, are asked to remain where the barrier lives. Delivery, in that case, is restraint.
Proof in two places
A carrier that performs in a beaker and fails on a 3D skin model is not a carrier. It is a laboratory curiosity. The institute keeps both tests on the same page, dated, and signed before a formula is allowed to mention “delivery” at all.
